Clear, implementation-first notes for installing Dash Labs apps and validating results.

Getting started

Practical basics for evaluating and rolling out a Dash Labs app in a Shopify store.

1) Pick the app

Start on the Apps page and choose the tool that matches your goal (performance, tracking, reviews).

2) Install and configure

Follow the Shopify install flow, then complete the in-app setup checklist (events, placement, or widgets depending on the app).

3) Validate impact

Confirm the change with a before/after check: page speed, pixel firing, or review widgets rendering—depending on what you installed.

Integrations & implementation notes

What to double-check when your store has a more complex setup (headless, multiple pixels, custom checkout, etc.).

Checkout extensibility

If you’re using Checkout Extensibility, ensure the app’s checkout components are enabled and tested on all payment methods you support.

Theme customization

If a widget needs to appear in a specific place, prefer app blocks/sections over hardcoding. It keeps upgrades safe and reversible.

Tracking sanity checks

After setup, verify events in the destination (e.g. Taboola) and confirm there are no duplicate fires from other scripts or GTM.

Support

When something feels off, here’s the fastest way to get to a fix.

What to send us

Your store URL, the app name, what you expected vs what happened, and (if relevant) a screenshot or short screen recording.

Common causes

Conflicting scripts, aggressive theme optimizers, cached assets, or pixel duplication across multiple apps.
